The Applied Reading Psychometric Assessment can be used as a screening tool for ensuring a minimum acceptable level of reading comprehension in short-listed candidates for selection into specific positions, trades or occupations. It can also be used to assess the reading comprehension of those returning to work after rehabilitation or long-term unemployment.

  3. Test Administration - We will administer the test , providing full, clear instructions for the candidate to complete. And we'll deal with any queries they have. 

  4. Get The Results  - Upon receipt of the completed test, we'll send you the results. We can also deliver optional coaching as needed.

  5. Pay - We'll send you the tax invoice for all completed tests (Payable in 5 business days).

What are Psychometric Tests?

Psychometric testing  is used in the preliminary stages of any interview process to ensure that only qualified candidates advance to the next stage. It is an online test, often multiple-choice-based, that assesses a candidate’s personality, skills, qualifications and / or cognitive abilities.

Why are they useful for recruitment and at what stage are they used?

A psychometric test can provide a range of information that may be useful for hiring. Information obtained from the testing can identify mental aptitude, motivation, and interests, work styles and cognitive abilities. This can help ensure that only the right candidates join your organisation.

 

How are the tests administered?

Our psychometric tests are performed online and usually take between 15 - 30 minutes for the candidate to complete. Our team will administer and manage the testing process with the candidate then send you the reports. 

When will I get the results?

Once the candidate has completed their psychometric tests, the reports will be emailed to you within 1-2 working days excluding public holidays and weekends.
